Joining SfAA is easy. Below are the membership categories. Please choose the category that meets your needs and submit the completed form to the SfAA Business Office. After receiving the form and payment information, we will process your application for membership immediately. Upon joining SfAA, you will receive Human Organization, Practicing Anthropology, the SfAA Newsletter as well as reduced annual conference fees and other benefits.

Sustaining Fellow ($110.00)
Applicants for Sustaining Fellow status must have an advanced degree or present evidence of experience in the application of the social/behavioral sciences to contemporary issues.
Fellow ($75.00)
Applicants for Fellow status must have an advanced degree or present evidence of experience in the application of the social/behavioral sciences to contemporary society. This option requires a nomination from a member of the SfAA Board.
Regular ($60.00)
This category of membership is open to persons who have an interest in the application of the social/behavioral sciences.
Student ($35.00)
Persons enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs may apply for this category of membership.
Emeritus Fellow ($40.00) and
Emeritus Member ($35.00)
Fellows and members who attain the age of 65 or who retire are eligible for this category of membership.
Joint Sustaining Fellow ($85.00)
Joint Fellow ($50.00) and
Joint Member ($35.00)
Fellows and members who share the same postal address are eligible for this category of membership.
